IPL 2020’s new Co-Presenting Partner is Dream11

We have a new sponsor for this year’s IPL – fantasy gaming platform Dream11 is replacing Vivo as the title sponsor for this year’s season which will be taking place in UAE. Dream11 beat Byju’s, Unacademy and Tata Sons to become the highly sought after sponsorship face for one of cricket’s most watched tournaments. With the BCCI announcing that only companies with a turnover above Rs. 300 crores would be permitted to submit bids for the IPL sponsorship rights, Dream11’s winning bid of Rs. 222 crore beat off competition from Unacademy (Rs. 210 crores), Tata (Rs 180 crore) and Byju’s (Rs. 125 crores.).

Dream11 is an Indian fantasy sports gaming platform allowing users to play in fantasy leagues from various sports like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, kabaddi and much more. This online game has over 50 million players allowing people to create a virtual sports team with real sports stars in a sport they like and earn points based on how each individual performs in real matches. Dream11’s other platform – FanCode provides all in one sports updates for football, baseball, basketball and cricket live scores. Users can also find the latest sports news, schedules for live games and match highlights or videos.
